| Art of Living prog for jail inmates concludes | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 18 : Eight Day long programme of Art of Living organized in District Jail Amphalla Jammu concluded here today in which the Divisional Commissioner Jammu Shantmanu was the chief guest.
General Manager Training Jammu and Kashmir Art of Living, Arunima Sinha assisted by Bhargavi taught the basics of Art of Living to the inmates to lead a stress-free and healthy life.
Speaking on the occasion, Divisional Commissioner lauded the role of this organization for conducting such programmes in different District Jail of the State. He said that such programmes will help the jail inmates to live a healthy life.
The inmates after the conclusion of the programme expressed satisfaction and were found keen to go in for advanced learning in the field of Art of Living.
During the eight day programme the jail inmates were provided courses based on breathing exercises, meditation and various others techniques.
Jail Superintendent Harish Kotwal was also present on the occasion and underscored the importance of such reformatory programmes for prisoners. |
