| People rejected corrupt, inefficient: Hamid Choudhary | | PDP scripts history | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 18 : Extending his greetings to People's Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Mehboba Mufti and party stalwarts Muzafer Hussain Beig and Tariq Hamid Karra on their splendid victory in recently concluded Lok Sabha polls, party Co-ordinator for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency, Abdul Hamid Choudhary today said that people finally rejected corrupt and inefficient people only to pin their hopes in trustworthy leadership. Choudhary Hamid said people of Jammu and Kashmir were sick of rising levels of corruption and wanted a big change which they succeeded in bringing through their power of vote. This victory of PDP, he said has ensured that people have reposed their faith in the party leadership which had always been working for their causes and ensuring justice for them. He also congratulated Election Commission of India (ECI) for holding free and fair elections in the state. Hamid while extending his greetings to party leaders and workers who worked tirelessly in ensuring victory of Mehbooba Mufti, Muzaffer Hussain Beig and Tariq Hamid Qara hoped that similar vigour would also be shown in coming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir State. The next elections, he added are going to be very crucial for which PDP will put in its best of efforts. |
