| GEWF demands regularization of workers who complete 7 years service | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 22 : Jammu and Kashmir Government Employees and Workers Federation (GEWF) demanded regularization of government employees who have completed seven years of services. According to press release, a meeting of federation was held under the president ship of S. Kulwant Singh President JK Government employees and workers. Addressing the meeting he showed anguish over the anti-Employees and Anti-workers attitude of the Government. The Government is not serious towards its employees. "It is unfortunate that the employees in general and in handicrafts department in particular working under new pension scheme are without salary which creates hardships during such an era of price hike", he said, demanding rupees one thousand medical allowance instead of 300 hundred in favour of employees. "Regularization of daily wagers in different departments who have completed 7 years of their services. Release the salary of RETs working under SSA who are working without salary for many months. Release of dearness allowance in favour of employees which is due from 1st Jan 2014", he demanded. |
