Udhampur, May 29: Seven persons were injured when a mini bus rolled down into a gorge near Mutal in District Udhampur, police sources said. According to the reports, a mini bus bearing regd no: JK02P-5426 on its way from Sandrani to Muakal met with an accident and rolled into a gorge at near Mutal after driver lost the control over the vehicle resulting injuries to seven persons. On receiving information, Police teams rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to District Hospital (DH) Udhampur from where doctors referred two injured persons GMC &H Jammu Hospital.
The injured persons identified namely as Bittu of Haryana, Bimla Devi (45) w/o Hukam Chand, Renu Khajuria (40) w/o Anil Kumar of Udhampur, Satya Devi w/o Gardari Lal of Sunari, Vijay Singh s/o Kuldeep singh of Sandrani, Kisho Devi w/o Hukam Chand of Kuduyn and Barinder Singh s/o Kuldeep Singh of Sandrani Rehambal. The concerned police have registered a case and further investigation is on. |
