Jammu, July 1: In the wake of recent adjournment of SBOTE exams due to papers, leakage has caused a gross resentment among the students of Polytechnics all across J&K, the National Panthers Students Union (NPSU) staged a protest demonstration at Government Polytechnic, Jammu and threatened to intensify the stir if authorities fail to take any action against the erring officials. Led by Manmeet Singh Chahal the students and activist of NPSU staged a protest demonstration along at Government Polytechnic, Jammu amid sloganeering against the Secretary SBOTE for failing to take any action against the erring officials. Protestors said that by postponing the exams the board has jeopardized the careers of hundreds of final semester students who were seeking admission in degree courses, besides names who were awaiting them appointment letter. They lambasted the Board for its apathetic attitude towards the students and exhorted the Board to publish the fresh date sheet at the earliest without cancelling the papers which have been taken already by the students. Among others who addressed the protestors included Tarun Bhagat, Rahul ,Abhishek, Abhijeet, KartiK, Rishab, Satish, Shubam, Zaffar and others. |
