JAMMU, July 1: The Singhasan Mata Jyot Yatra for Chittoh Paddar was taken out today from Rani Talab Digiana Mandir with religious fervor.
This Yatra is organized by Pritpal Singh Lovely President and Shagun Sharma, who have been organizing the Yatra which is being taken out for the past 12 years. Choudhary Manmohan Singh, Ex Mayor of Jammu, flagged of the Yatra to the holy pilgrimage.
This is the 12th Yatra till now and about 5000 euphoric and ecstatic pilgrims of almost every age genre embarked on this Yatra with huge commotion of dhols and jaikaras of mata, chanting all the way. This is a 6 day yatra, for which they all seemed eager. The Yatra will start from tatta pani on 1st day to Sohl Kaali Mata ka Mandir on 2nd day, reaching Singhasan Mata Chittoh Paddar on 3rd day and will see a 2day stay at bhawan with returns on 6th day, as on 6th July. |
