RAMBAN, July 5: In connection to improve the educational infrastructure in the district, Member Legislature Assembly (MLA), Ramban AshoK Kumar inaugurated three school buildings constructed at an estimated cost of over Rs.27.5 lakh under Additional Class Room (ACR) schemes here today.
MLA inaugurated Additional Accommodation for UPS Sharore (Kanga), UPS Phalti completed with expenditure of an amount of Rs. 7.79 lakh each and UPS Batyari of amounting to Rs. 11.96 Lakh including Toilets and Kitchen shed. Speaking on the occasion MLA said that education sector is always remains on my priority because education is the only medium to achieve any target as set by the person, society as well as nation for overall development of mankind. Meantime he also appreciated the efforts of land donor, Omkar Singh Katoch for his contribution in establishment of school accommodation at Batyari. He also announced donation of 50 desks for these three schools and stressed upon the teacher community to improve the stander of education in government school. Earlier Chief Education Officer (CEO), Ramban Vinod Soni in his welcome address gave details of ACR and other projects being taken by the department He also urged the parents of the students to contribute to improve the educational scenario of the area with close coordination with the school staff.
