Jammu, July 5: The nominated candidate of People Democratic Party (PDP) for Haveli assembly constituency, Shah Muhammad Tantray has accused the coalition state government of its failure to safeguard the rights and privileges of low paid employees. As per statement, he said that the false claims of development and prosperity of the said government is total fraud as it failed to provide the monthly salaries to SSA masters and R-e-T teachers for last 4 to 6 months. He said what to talk more even the daily wagers of PHE and other departments who receive a meager amount of salary are without payment for last many months. Talking to media at his residence today he said that working on the proverb "A giant will starve on what surfeits a draft" the government has released only one month's salary in favour of SSA teachers which is total injustice. He asserted that when the government is totally failed to even provide the salaries to their already working employees then one can easily imagine that what will happen to newly appointed employees" He further said that the government has no sense of feeling for their low paid employees and has turned a deaf ear to their genuine demands of salary even in the holy month of Ramadan. He also demanded a proper check-up of market so that the public may not be looted by stockers and profiteers. |
