| Dharna of unemployed dental doctors enters 5th day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 5: Continuing their fast unto death for the 5th consecutive day, Dental Surgeons Associations Jammu Kashmir (DSA-JK) criticized the state government for not taking notice of their grievances including government jobs. President Dr. Asif Iqbal Chowdhary alleged that Government always try to take credit for proposing and implementing the big schemes of Dental and Medical health, but ignores the issues and demands of the intelligentsia which is supposed to be given their due job opportunities to run these health and welfare schemes. President also said that the piling up of unemployment in dental sector in the state is only due to the negligence and failed in framing and executing the proper policy in relation to the dental health in the state. Meanwhile they also highlighted other demands recruitment of dental surgeons on every year basis, establish separate directorate for dental health in the state. He alleged that as the Govt. is giving deaf ears to our genuine demands and thus for this DSA-JK has unanimously decided to go for FAST UNTO DEATH till our demands are not fulfilled. |
