Modi's visit to J&K exposed BJP's betrayal of Jammu Pradesh: Prof Bhim Singh
7/5/2014 11:55:23 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, July 5 : Prof. Bhim Singh Chief Patron NPP & Member of NIC today expressed deep shock on the unplanned visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Jammu and Kashmir ignoring the most burning issues of Jammu Migrants, PaK & POK Refugees with whom the BJP had been making false promises to deliver them justice. Prof. Bhim Singh was addressing a press conference at Press Club, Jammu. He said Modi's blunder was that he should have flagged off train to Katra from Udhampur and not from Katra to Udhampur which shows Modi's dislikes for Udhampur only because Udhampur MLA belongs to Panthers Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi was advised to avoid Udhampur. One wonders who flagged off train from Udhampur to Katra first. NPP patron said It is equally shocking that Shri Narindra Modi did not mention the name of Jammu Migrants, Talwara Migrants, POK and PaK refugees who had voted for him in the past elections blindly hoping that Modi shall redress their problems. Modi could not utter a word for the plight of the people of Jammu Pradesh either. Modi had proposed a nation level discussion on Article 370 during his speech at Jammu during election campaign. He forgot to mention Article 370 or even the name of Dr. Shama Prasad Mukherjee. The Prime Minister in haste did not realize that there are more than 2 lacs educated unemployed youth and they need work for their survival. Modi failed to mention the rehabilitation plan of the Kashmir Pandits Migrants. He also failed to mention the future of Jammu Poonch Rail link. He did not utter a word in appreciation of the Army and ex-Army Jawans during his Katra speech. Flagging off a train from Katra to Udhampur was not an anti-climax account but anti-thesis also. Prof. Bhim Singh said this demonstrates vanity and anti-opposition bias that Modi has inherited from his past experience. He said Modi had enough time to enjoy the luxury of Raj Bhawan lunch at Chasma-Shahi whereas he could not even spare ten minutes to visit Mata Vaishno Darbar. Prof. Bhim Singh said that the Delegate Session shall be held tomorrow at Brahmin Sabha, Parade Ground (6th July 2014) Jammu. The Agenda for Reorganization of Jammu & Kashmir shall be placed before the party workers. The reorganization of Jammu and Kashmir means formation of three states, Jammu State, Kashmir State & Ladakh-Gilgit State.
