SRINAGAR, July 8: Government College for Women (GCW), MA Road today made it to the final of the Women's Football Tournament, organized by J&K Football Association (JKFA) here.
In the semifinal, played today, GCW MA Road defeated Valley Educational Institute 7-0 in a one-sided contest. Bushra remained the main striker with four goals while Shahnaz and Rehan contributed two and one goal respectively.
The second semifinal of the event shall be played between Mallinson Girls School and Higher Secondary School Kothibagh tomorrow.
The Results: Preliminary Round: Government High School Chanpora bt New Convent HS, Goajbagh 2:0; Government Girls HS Kothibagh bt Government HS Chanapora 2-1. |
