| JKGAD employment advertisement switch norms | | Prospective candidates terms it 'exercise to adjust blue-eyed' | | Shiv Thakur Jammu, July 8: Call it a clandestine approach or a deliberate attempt to elbow the prospective candidates out of contention, the State Civil Secretariat has shown up a dubious character to seize their right to job. The allegation augurs well with an advertisement loaded on the General Administrative Department inviting candidates for the post of class IV employees where it candidly read that the aspirants can fill the form in blue or black ink, later to make a secret shift from its earlier stand thrusting upon them to go with a HB pencil, quite apparently showing their concern for the adjustment of the blue-eyed in the department. Sources privy to the department reveal that the state civil secretariat authorities, in the midst of their intentions to settle their favourites in various departments, have published a new advertisement stating the OMR forms to be filled with HB pencil only, while the Instructions available with OMR forms along with the dummy form state a contradictory instruction stating that the OMR form must be filled with either blue or black pen ink ball pen only. General rue has galore that it is a conspiracy of Civil Secretariat authorities as it is bit easier to temper the duly filled OMR filled with HB pencil as compared to ball ink pen. Secretary JKGAD Mohammed Ashraf Bhukhari said that since the advertisement have been published in local dailies and as for as the current mistake appearing in the form, he washed his hands off from the candidates' allegation "I can't do anything for those who have wasted their money on purchase of form twice," was his reply ruthless response while he maintained safe distance from replying to any query on the dubious character of the department changing stances on advertisements. Meanwhile in a conversation with Early Times, one of the candidate Abhishek Dogra , applying for the post showed his application form in which there was a clear option of using black as well as blue pen but when it came to submission of form, the officials deputed to accept the forms rejected the same giving plea of no option of using the black and blue ink in the form. He also added that being poor, it is difficult for many other candidates like him to bear the expense of purchasing OMR form twice just because of mistake of authorities in providing right instructions. |
