| Sinthon Top tragedy: Locals demand FIR against GREF | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, July 8: Following the tragic accident at Sinthon Top here today in which nine occupants of a vehicle died after it rolled into deep gorge, the agitated locals today demanded an FIR against GREF officials and hold the agency responsible for failure in maintenance of road besides alleging use of the sub standard material into road construction. According to reports from Kishtwar, the angry locals urged the MOS Home to intervene and direct the police register FIR against the guilty GREF officials.
Shabir Ahmed Kamal, uncle of deceased Dr Amir Kamal has decided to move an FIR tomorrow against the GREF for negligence and sub standard work.
Meanwhile it is reported that MOS Home Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo also directed the police to look into the possibility of registration of an FIR against GREF under culpable homicide act. |
