| PDP women wing protest against price hike | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 8: Mahila Wing of PDP under the leadership of Geeta Thakur marked protest for scarcity of ration, heavy corruption and for day to day increasing cost of necessary living items.
Geeta Thakur who led the protestors alleged that ration dealers in connivance with the authorities of CA&PD are misleading the general public on one pretext or other while they are black marketing the ration meant for the registered people.
The protestors alleged that the state government has failed to curb the corruption, in fact the corruption has deeply rooted in the government departments not only this there are rates fixed for jobs in the Department
Ritu Gupta, Smt Radha Kapahi, Smt Madhu Gandotra, and Smt Yash Kour while addressing the protestors also alleged the government for putting extra burden on the pockets of poor people by increasing the cost of Vegetables, Gas, Petrol, Diesel etc. |
