| Five bodies fished out in separate search operations | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 8: Police today fished out five bodies from water bodies in separate incidents from different areas, this morning. Police sources said that some locals noticed a body floating in the canal near Toph Sherkahnia and immediately informed the police. After getting the information police reached the spot and fished out the body. Identity of the deceased has been established as Subash resident of Ambala presently at Toph Sherkhania, sources said. In a similar incident a body of a man who drowned in Toph Sherkhania yesterday was fished out from Canal at Canal road. The identity of deceased has been established as Dharam Singh (40) son of Shankar Singh of Doda. Police also added while searching body of Dharam, they accidently found an unidentified body of a male aged around 40 years. Inspector Bashir Kohli, In-charge police post Canal Road said that yet the identity of the deceased could not be established. He further said that deceased was wearing Jean pants with check shirt Meanwhile continuing search operations at Sidhra area in river Tawi, the police successfully have fished out bodies of two youth who drowned yesterday in the river. |
