| Unemployed Ayurveda medicos warn to intensify stir | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 8: Unemployed Ayurvedic doctors of Jammu region today under the Banner of "J&K Ayurveda Doctors Association (JKADA) highlighted their issues and demanded early redressal of their demands. They also warned to intensify their stir if their demands including absorption in government jobs is not considered.. In a media interaction, the Ayurveda Doctors alleged that the Govt, have no employment policy for the Ayurvedic doctors and the strength of the Unemployed Ayurveda doctors is growing day by day. Dr Amit Gupta president of the Association said the state govt seems not to bothered about their demands and yet has not done anything for the absorption of the Ayurveda Doctors. He and other speakers said most of the dispensaries are lying vacant without the doctors and giving a feeling of neglect to Ayurveda doctors. Dr Varun Padha and other core members have appealed the Chief Minister of the state Omar Abdullah, and Health Minister to announce one time absorption policy for unemployed doctors. Meanwhile they threatened to intensify their stir and come on streets from tomorrow. During the meeting the JKADA members highlighted demands including Complete absorption of unemployed Ayurveda Doctors, Recruitment of Ayurveda Doctors on every year basis, Separate directorate for Ayurveda, Stipend for Ayurveda Interins and Opening of Govt Ayurveda college as announced by government. |
