HC stays Govt order on JDs in Agri Deptt

Srinagar, July 8: Jammu and Kashmir High Court has stayed a government order regarding posting of five officers as Joint Directors in Agriculture Production on incharge basis. "Subject to the objections and till next date of hearing, impugned order 20th June 2014 to the extend it pertains to respondents 2 to 5 shall remain stated," Justice D S Thakur said while hearing a petition by Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Rather, who claims to have a right to be considered for promotion to the next higher post of Junior Director in the Department of agriculture Production. The court also left it open to the government to consider the case of the petitioner for incharge arrangement along with all eligibles.
The private respondents includeMohammad Mubarak Reshi, Ghulam Hassan Guroo, Aejaz Andrabi, A R samoon.
