| JKTF demands regularization of 'water women' in education sector | | | Early Times Report
Vijaypur, July 8: Jammu & Kashmir Teachers Forum held its meeting today at Vijaypur under the chairmanship of Satish Dutta General Secretary of the forum wherein the members expressed concerns over the poor plight of lowest cadre in education sector viz. water men & water women working In govt schools for the last so many years on a meager monthly honorarium. Speaking in the meeting speakers including Satish Dutta said the government has agreed to regularize the water man and has also regularized in Kashmir but not in Jammu region.
He questioned the different yard sticks of the state government and urged to the state government to issue the formal order In favaur these workers.
Rahul Sambyal appealed to Minister of Education to solve the problems of under graduate teachers. Among others who spoke in this meeting included Surjeet Singh convener Nud Sumb and senior members namely Ashwani Sharma and Gurdeep Singh |
