Locals protest against PDD, demand replacement of Transformer 7/8/2014 11:57:15 PM Early Times Report Samba, July 8: Locals from Nanakchak village in Samba led by Assembly Youth Congress Samba (AYC) today protest against PDD Department near ARTO office Samba under the leadership of Vinod Kumar President Youth Congress. Amid sloganeering protesters demanded the replacement of damage transformer within time and also warned the department against delaying the replacing of defunct transformer. They said old, sick and children are suffering a lot. Addressing the protestors, Vinod Kumar said the people of this village have been suffering for past 10 days and concerned department yet has not taken any step in this regard. He also threatened if the damage transformer is not be replaced earliest the people from Nanakchak block will National Highway.
