Jammu, July 8: A delegation of representatives of different organizations of !947, Chamb -47,65,& 71 state-subject holders displaced persons today called on Minister for PHE and Flood Control Sham Lal Sharma at his residence and apprised him about the of plight of all such displaced Families in J&K state.
The deputationists led by Manmohan Chowdhary, Former mayor JMC and president J&K Jat Sabha during this meeting highlighted the plight of said displaced community and asked that it is the diure need for relief package and reservation in educational institutes, employment which is being arbitrarily delayed by state government. Manmohan Chowdhary and other representatives of displaced persons have also urged the ministers and legislatures from Jammu to jointly support this humane issue to strengthen the unity of Jammu.The PHE Minister, Sharma gave patient hearing to delegation and assured representatives of displaced persons that he will seriously initiate long pending issue of displaced persons to its logical conclusion of all such state subject holders. Satpal from Kathua, Ch Sham lal, Ch Rachpal Singh, Ch baldevRaj from Vijaypur, Suchwant Singh and D S Sudan, Jaswant Singh, Bodhraj Sharma, Maj (retd) Harnam Singh, Sukhdev Singh, Gurdev singh (Retd.ZEO), Parmjeet Singh Raina, and amny others were the part of deputation. |
