jammu, July 17: Shiv Shena (J&K) President was allegedly assaulted by a Royal Singh, an under trail in much publicized Amandeep murder case in court premises at High Court Complex Janipur. However, the victim had denied to register complain in this regard owing to which no case was registered by the police. Police sources said that Royal Singh who was taken to court for a court hearing by chance had a face to face contact with Shiv Sena president Ashok Gupta who was also present in the court premises for some legal work. "Royal Singh has some arguments with the leader resulting which he slapped thrice on the face of the leader, sources added. SHO Janipur, SI Hilal Azhar when contacted precisely said, "The victim had denied that he was assaulted by anyone". So there was no possibility of registering a case against any one, he added. Meanwhile, another under trial identified as Rajinder Kumar had minor scuffle with cops when he was allegedly prevented to meet his relatives in court premises. However, no case was registered in this regard.
