| Release advance salaries/pension before Eid: NMC | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 17: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) on Thursday appealed to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for his intervention into ensuring advance payment of salaries/pension for the current month in favor of state Govt. employees and pensioners and pending wages to daily rated workers working in various departments of the State Govt before Eid-ul-fiter festival.
"We appeal to the Chief Minister to personally intervene into the matter to ensure that the advance payment of salaries/pension and pending wages of daily wagers are provided their advance salaries/pension and pending wages before the festival of id-u-fitter, stated President NMC Subash Shastri in a statement issued here today.
NMC has also submitted a memorandum to Abdullah recently in which they expressed their concern regarding non-payment of wages to daily workers for last several months. NMC chief also urged for regularization of services of all the daily wages working in the various government departments up to March 2014 and enhancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 every month.
Shastri also reiterated employees demand like early release of 10 percent DA and 4ht installment of 6th pay commission arrears well before Eid -ul-fiter festival, removal of all pay anomalies of clerical cadre of the State Govt, Amendment in SRO 64, issuance of regularization orders 180 orders of daily wagers working in the rural development department and etc. |
