Udhampur, July 17: Locals hailing from the villages situated along the Pancheri-Udhampur Road alleged that the main road which connects many villages to the main town is in depleted condition despite tall claims of the authorities.
Local residents of the areas lamented that local particularly the student community is facing hardship while attending the school and colleges. "Pancheri is picturesque area of district Udhampur located at about 39 kms from District Headquarter Udhampur but is still neglected and road connectivity in the areas is in worst condition, many alleged. Sarpanch Pancheri Baldav Singh said that a road of Udhampur to Pancheri in a worst condition and locals of the area face many problems due to the worst condition of the Pancheri road.
He said Pancheri locals residents many times have made requests to the Govt and also to their elected representatives who also have failed to take any action in this regard. "The education, health, agriculture, business, other necessary govt set up has remain inefficient to the cater the need of common man of the this far flung hilly belt, he added. |
