Electrical employees stage protest, demand benefits under SRO 59 8/4/2014 10:35:15 PM KATHUA, Aug 4: To highlight their long pending demand of providing the benefits of SRO 59 to the electrical employees of Jammu Division, the Electrical Employees Union (Jammu) held a massive protest demonstration against the state Government here today. Later the protesting employees submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister through District Administration. The protest demonstration and deputation led by Provincial president of the Union PC Sharma who alleged that the SRO 59 was implemented in 1990 in PDD by the state Government but its benefit were extended to the electrical employees of Kashmir Division only while the employees of Jammu Division were ignored.He warned the state Government by giving an ultimatum of fifteen days to address the demand, otherwise it should be ready to face the consequences.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
