Srinagar, Aug 4: A top secret of backdoor appointments by National Conference (NC) leadership ahead of upcoming Assembly elections in every District of Kashmir was exposed by one NC office bearer after the part workers clashed with each other in central Kashmir's Ganderbal District today. The workers from various parts of District protested outside District office today against the recruitment of five workers of the party at the behest one NC Minister in Animal and Sheep Husbandry department. "Very recently Minister Nazir Gurezi recruited five workers in Amira-abad Animal Husbandary cum sheep farm, workers who protested today were demanding recruitment of all the workers and not just five, their demands are genuine as everybody works for the party," said Abdul Rehman Mir. "I do not remember the names of five people who were recruited by Gurezi , this time list is not with me but I remember one of them is from Hakeemgund, another from Wakoora, two workers are from Lar and one more is from Fakh area," he added. Pertinently according to sources within NC, dozens of workers who reached NC's Ganderbal office today shouted slogans against NC leadership and some of them ransacked the office. The police, sources said had to intervene to restore order. However, no case has been registered. |
