| J&K PHE ITI Trained & CP workers observe ‘kaam choro hartaal’ | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 4 : Protest / kaam choro hartaal were held in front of Press club Jammu under the banner of J&K. PHE ITI Trained & CP workers Union today While addressing the protest Association President Tanveer Hussain said that to State Govt. for immediate frame a policy for their Regularization. It is pertinent to mention here, that State Govt. of J&K has been engaged the I.T.I trained Casual Labour Vide Govt. Cabinet Decision No. 116/4 Dated 1 05 2006, and CP workers and need base workers are working from last 15 20 years but till date Govt. failed to frame a policy for their regulization. This is totally against the youth employment policy. We the trained (casual Labour) employees of PHE Deptt appeal to the Govt that our genuine demand may please be considered and the casual labour employees are regularized as we have completed the required formalities in all respects. As and when we approached the concerned authorities, promises were made with us for regularization but till daie nothing concrete has. come out. They futher threatened that if the government failed to fulfil the genuine demands of the protesters then they would go for indefinite strike . Other prominent activist who addressed the protest were Subash Chander, Deepak Gupta, Manjeet Singh, Dushaynt Sudan and Mushtaq Ahmed . Their major demands included. Regularization policy for M trained as per REV RET pattern, Regularization policy for C.P/ Nmd Based Workers and Release pending wages of CP/ Need Based Workers. |
