| DB dismisses pleas challenging Super time scale to DC Srinagar | | | Jammu, Aug 4 (JNF): In a LPA filed by Rohit Khajuria presently Executive Director Mubarak Mandi Heritage Society against the judgment of Writ Court whereby writ dismissed the petition of petitioner with costs Rs 20,000 in which petitioner challenging Govt Order dated September 4, 2013 whereby respondent Farooq Ahmed Shah presently Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar placed in the Super time scale KAS on the ground that the said respondent is junior to the petitioner and seeking direction to recommend his name for induction into IAS.
After hearing Adv DK Khajuria appearing for the appellants whereas Adv WS Nargal appearing for the Farooq Ahmed Shah Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, the Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur and Justice Bansi Lal Bhat today, summoned the record of SWO NO 744/2013 from Srinagar Wing and directed Registry to list this LPA after three weeks and Division Bench made it clear that any benefit granted to Farooq Ahmed Shah in terms of future promotion and induction shall be subject to outcome of present proceedings. |
