BJP activists gherao PDD officials against power failure 8/11/2014 11:33:38 PM Early Times Report RS Pura, Aug 11: Expressing resentment against Power Development Department's (PDD's) failure to ensure timely repair of damaged transformers, the RS Pura unit of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) held a protest demonstration. Led by BJP leader Dr Gagan Bhagat, the party activists along with several local residents of Ward No 4 and 5 of R.S Pura raised slogans against the PDD and the state government for their failure to address the problem of repairing the damaged transformers. The protesters gheraoed the Assistant Executive Engineer (PDD) and other officials of the department for more than two hours in front of the SDM Office at RS Pura.
