Batote, Aug 11: The SSP Ramban, Javed IqbalMattu today inaugurated a sophisticated gymnasium inside the premises of Police Station, Batote.
According to press release, the Gym consisted of sophisticated exercising equipments which would be open for use by JKP cops as well as the local youth on a nominal monthly fee.
While speaking on the occasion in presence of DSP,(Hq),NS Parihar, Naib-Tehsildar, Batote, Saifullah Shah, prominent citizens and the fitness freak local youth, SSP, Mattu underlined the need of police-public camaraderie, cooperation and goodwill for which many a such goodwill facilities have been provided by the JKP in Ramban district during the past four years.
He hoped that more and more local youth would avail the facility of this Gymnasium which would not only help them in distracting them from bad habits like different addictions and anti social activities but also make them physically fit and so mentally active and cement the Police-Public bond. Replying to the public demand of fulfilling the government's oft repeated promise of establishing a Police Public School in Batote like in other districts of state, establishing a Library or Reading Room with an Internet facility and organizing JKP sponsored tournaments of various outdoor and indoor games he assured them he would soon act on them and forward the concerned projects to the JKP headquarter. |
