Rajouri, Aug 11: Members of Rajouri unit of Provincial Power Employees Union (PPEU) under the president-ship of Sadiq Chib condoled the sad demise of Late Tarvinder Singh, JE son of Nirman Singh on August ,8 in a tragic road accident.
The office bearers including Javed Lone, General Secretary, RajuBakshi and other members extended their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. PPEU members also observed two minutes silence and preys almighty to bestow peace to the eternal departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
Two injured as Tata Sumo rolls down
Kishtwar, Aug 11: Two people sustained injuries while two other escaped unhurt when a Tata Sumo they were travelling in met with an accident near Watsar Chatroo on Kishtwar-Sinthan-Srinagar National Highway.
Police sources said, "A Tata Sumo (JK03B-8393) met with an accident near Watsar Chatroo some 55 KM from Kishtwar on Kishtwar-Sinthan Road resulting into injuries to two persons while two escaped unhurt after the vehicle rolled down into 50 mts deep gorge."
"Large number of people from adjoining areas rushed to the spot alongwith police and troops of 11 RR shifted them to Primary Health Center Chatroo from where they were referred to District Hospital Kishtwar, they said adding, "injured have been identified namely as Neek Ram son of Nath Ram and Babloo son Shubh Ram both resident of Hawal Chatroo and are said to be in stable. |
