SAD expresses concern over flood victims

Jammu, Sept 8: Shiromani Akali Dal (National) here today conveyed heartfelt condolence and sympathies to all such families and people in the state who have lost their loved ones and properties due to this nature fury and sought relief for sufferer and rescue measures for those who are still trapped in flood on war footing.
According to press release, a meeting held under the chairmanship of its Senior Vice President Prof. Amrik Singh Saathi while expressing his views prof. Sathi expressed his shock and agony over the unfortunate bus carrying the marriage party flashed away by strong currents of water near village Laam-Darhal, Nowshera taking away the life of more than 60 people.
He conveyed his condolence and solidarity with all those families in state who lost their dear kith and kins in the flash flood.
He urged upon the Central and State Government to provide compensation to the tune of Rs. 10 Lakh to each family who lost their dear ones and also demanded compensation for those who lost their properties and crops.
