| MKJM comes forward to help flash flood affected people in Reasi | | | Jammu, Sept 8: Volunteering to help the flood affected people in Reasi, the activists of Manav Kalyan Jagriti Munch (MKJM) Katra, who are actively participating in various social activities came forward to help flash-flood affected people of district Reasi. The volunteers alleged that delay in relief work for victims by the state government. A large number of activists of MKJM under supervision of its president Karnail Singh visited various flood affected areas and helped the affected people in various far-flung villages of District Reasi. President of the Munch, Karnail Singh along with his team is camping in village Dera Babber in block Reasi, where number of bodies is laying under derbies of collapsed houses. Abdul Rehman who lost his two girls in house collapse in village Dera Babber, yety is awaiting to recover bodies' daughter in-law and grand-daughter of Abdul Aziz lying under derbies. President of Munch, Karnail Singh has held a meeting with SDM and Tehsildar Reasi and demanded availability relief for victims. He also assured the administration, the Munch is also providing relief on its own. Another team of Munch headed by Prakash Singh camping in Sadal village in Panchairi block where heavy rains affected 104 families and killed 38 people. The team is providing possible support for the victims. Similarly, another team of Munch, which on work in village Ladda under super vision of Sanjay Kumar Inqalabi took stock of damage which caused by cloud burst. In the said live-stock, animals were washed away and relief from admonition is yet awaited. |
