| Lord Ganesha 'Visarjan' taken out with great enthusiasm | | | Samba, Sept 8: Amid chanting of devotional songs and sloganeering like Ganpati Bappa Maurya, Mangal Murti Maurya, a large number of devotees today participated in ShobhaYatra taken out to Immerse the Shree Ganesh Idol in river Basantar near Samba town here today. Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma is chief guest on this occasion while eminent citizens of the area were also present on this occasion. Pipe band and drummers led to the ShobhaYatra which was followed by the a bunch of devotees singing devotional songs. The ShobhaYatra of Bhagwan Ganesh was taken out from Sita Ram Mandir Mandi Sangwali Samba and after passing through various main markets of the area it reached at National Highway Samba and then it proceeded further towards Basantar river for due immersion.
The Shobha Yatra created a spiritual ambiance across the whole Samba Town where people accorded traditional religious welcome to idol of Shree Ganesh while seeking blessings for the welfare of their families.
A large numbers of people were standing on the road side to greet the ShobhaYatra of Shree Ganesh.
At the bank of river basantar, several people joined the immersion ceremony. |
