| All exams scheduled till September 13 should be postponed: Neeraj Kundan | | NSUI condoles loss of life, property in J&K due to floods | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 8 : National Students' Union of India (NSUI) has condole the loss of life and property in the recent floods in the state and has demanded postponing of all exams scheduled up to 13th of September. A delegation of NSUI and students of Kashmir division led by Neeraj Kundan, State President of NSUI accompanied by Aijaz Mehar, Vice president of Youth Congress Lok Sabha Anantnag also met Vice Chancellor of Jammu University MPS Ishar in this regard. Talking to the VC and students, Kundan said that the students from Kashmir or not mentally stable at this moment because either they are stuck somewhere in the flood or their families are suffering from this calamity. They are not in a position of appearing in the examination. He also added that the exams should be postponed till 13th of September and if the conditions remain the same, it shall be postponed beyond it also. Expressing grief over the loss caused to life and property, Neeraj Kundan, State President of NSUI said that "I offer heartfelt sympathy on my behalf and on behalf of NSUI to the families of the victims and wish the injured a speedy recovery." Neeraj also said that NSUI is with the people of the state and will do every possible help the tough time. He further added that NSUI has directed all the district presidents and district committees of NSUI in the state to contribute every possible effort for the help to the victims of flood in the state. |
