Jammu, Sept 8: The "Display Your Talent" contest 2014-15 which was scheduled to start from 10thSeptember, 2014 in the University of Jammu has been postponed for one week, in view of the heavy rains and Flood Situation in different part of the J&K State.
The programme will now start from 17th of September, 2014 and will close on 1st October, 2014. This was decided in a meeting held in the Department of Students Welfare under the chairmanship of Prof Pankaj K Srivastava, Dean Students Welfare. As most of the colleges in different part of the Jammu Province are closed due to heavy rains and flood, it was also decided to extend the last date for receiving the nominations till 17th of September, 2014 by 2.00 p.m.. No entry after this date will be entertained. The revised schedule for the contest is available on the University website.
The changes made in the schedule of the events are given as below. All the other events will be held as per the old schedules.
