| RAJOURI, Sept 24: To draw the awareness among young students about the need and importance of books and to provide faculty members an opportunity to browse, choose and select books on the spot on a variety of subject areas of their interest at one place, the Central Library, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Rajouri toady organized a two day book exhibition. Earlier, Prof. Irshad A Hamal, Vice-Chancellor, BGSB University, formally inaugurated the book exhibition in presence of students, scholars and teachers of the university. Apart from heads of various teaching departments, those who were present on the occasion include M R Chowdhary, Registrar BGSB University, Prof. A.K Koul Dean, Academic Affairs, and Mohd Isaq, Controller Examination along with other officers of the University. Prof Hamal mentioned about the paradigm shift in the information seeking behaviour of users following the use of e-resources but that should not undermine the importance of print documents. |
