| Udhampur, Sept 24: A man reportedlyt was attacked by bear at village Nap Latti, Tehsil Chenani, police sources said. Sources said that the injured has been identified namely as Charu Ram (38) son of Srupa of Nap Latti in Tehsil Chenani of Udhampur. According to police sources, the victim was returning home after grazing his cattle in nearby forest and suddenly a bear pounced upon him leaving him seriously injured. On hearing his hue and cry some locals rushed to spot and scared away the bear which escaped to the near by forest, sources said and added, " thereafter locals shifted the injured to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Latti for immidiate medical treatment." |
