| PDP committed to address grievances of all sections of society: Vikramaditya | | | NAGROTA, Sept 24 : Seeking support of every section of the society to establish a new system in justice and equality in Jammu and Kashmir, senior leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Vikramaditya Singh today assured the people PDP under the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is committed address wishes and aspirations of all sections of the society. He said that Jammu and Kashmir is passing through a very crucial juncture and it is need to hour to strengthen hands of a statesman like Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to get the state out of present unprecedented crisis. Addressing a public meeting at Nagrota to mobilize public support in favour party candidate Hussain AliWaffa, Vikramaditya Singh said that PDP has decided to formulate a comprehensive vision document to address grievances of all regions and sub-regions of the State. "Our vision document would be formulated by incorporating wishes and aspirations of all sections of the society", he said and added that successive state governments in Jammu and Kashmir have ignored Jammu region in all aspects of life. "My decision to join politics is aimed at serving people of the State in general and Jammu region in particular", Vikramaditya said and reminded that gathering that it was only during the regime of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed that equal treatment was given to all regions of the State. "It was all due to the equitable developmental policies propagated by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed that I joined PDP", he said and assured that people that he would serve them with dedication and commitment. PDP candidate for Nagrota Hussain Ali Waffa assured the gathering that he would serve the people with commitment and dedication. "We are soldiers of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed who has decided to make Jammu and Kashmir as an Island of peace and development", Bafa said and exhorted party workers to spread message of the party in every nock and corner of Nagrota assembly segment. |
