Jammu, Sept 26: The Freshers' Meet was organized at Dogra Law College in a gracious way by the seniors of 5 year B.A. LL.B. course and 3 year LL.B. (Prof.) course.
The proceedings of the programme began with the lighting of the traditional lamp followed by "Saraswati Vandana" Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman of the Dogra Educational Trust and Former Minister of Higher Education J&K State was the Chief Guest while Kr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary Dogra Educational Trust, Kr. Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Trustee Dogra Educational Trust and Prof. B. D. Damral, Director (Academics) Dogra Educational Trust were the Special Guests on this occasion.
The welcome address was presented by Naman Sharma, student of 9th semester of 5 year Law course. On this occasion, the senior students of the college organized a well coordinated, highly attractive and colourful programme of Cultural extravaganza and interesting games which won the heart of the audience. The items displayed during the Meet comprised of the Solo performances, Modeling, Punjabi Songs, Skit, Fusion Dance, Mimicry, Games and instrumental music display. A special attraction of this programme was live performance by the Band of Lovish and Group which captivated the hearts of the audience. |
