Sumit Sharma JAMMU, Sept 26: Blame game in the Government Medical College and Associated Hospitals started after State Information Commission directed its administration to provide complete information about the appointment of one Shehnaz Anjum, who is said to have been regularized after completing 7 years consolidated/contractual services. The matter came to light when one Parvez Shera R/o C- 6 Channi Appartments, sector 7,Channi Himmat, knocked the doors of the Commission by filing 2nd appeal in which he alleged inter alia that the information provided to him by the administration of Government Medical College and Associated Hospitals is incomplete as copies of documents, testimonials submitted by Shehnaz Anjum at the time of being appointed on consolidated/contractual basis in the year 2002 and also documents submitted by her at the time of regularization of services including her service book have not been provided to him. The applicant filed 2nd appeal after he ran pillar to post and got nothing from the 1st appellate authority. Earlier, the Administrative Officer, Government Medical College, Jammu vide his office letter no. JMC/RTI/2014/20 informed the Public Information Officer, Associated Hospitals, Jammu that the information asked for does not pertain to his office and can be sought from recruiting agency. But, later, feeling blaze of the Commission, the PIO Mansoor Aslam Choudhary, Personnel Officer, Associated Hospitals Govt. Medical College, Jammu and Jeet Kumar, Administrative Officer, G.M.C., Jammu apprised the Commission that the information pertains to the Chief Accounts Officer, GMC, Jammu and he be directed to provide the same. In view of the submissions made by the Public Information Officer, Associated Hospitals Govt. Medical College, Jammu, and Administrative Officer, G.M.C., Jammu, the Chief Accounts Officer, Government Medical College, has been directed by the Commission to furnish the requisite information to the Information seeker within 10 days from the date of receipt of the order under an intimation to the Commission. |
