Jammu, Sept 26: A woman was found by hanging from branch of a tree under mysterious circumstances near her house in Kanga falling under the jurisdiction of Dharamkund Police Station of Rajouri.
The deceased has been identified as Sumitri Devi wife of Lal Singh resident of Kanga in Dharamkund, police said.
Police sources said that some locals found Sumitri Devi hanging from branch of a tree and immediately informed the police. After getting the information police reached the spot and shifted the body to the nearby hospital.
Police have registered a case and started investigation to ascertain exact reasons behind the death. |
