Awareness programme on "Biodiversity Conservation" organized 9/26/2014 11:59:49 PM Early Times Report Doda, Sept 26: To create awareness among the people living in far flung and hilly area particularly student community about the importance of forests for survival, a programme was organized under National Environment Awareness Campaign on the theme "Biodiversity Conservation" at Govt.MS Shadani zone Bhagwah. Abdul Latief Dar Panch PH Shadani was the Chief guest while Narentik Kumar Sharma Headmaster PS Nander was the guest of honour. Pritam Singh, Anchal Singh , Mukesh Kumar RET and Pardeep Singh RET present on the occasion. Narentik Kumar Sharma delivered lecture on paryavaran mitra programme. Speaking on the occasion, he said WWF & AYC Doda is the Knowledge Partner with ministry of Environment and forest GOI. He impressed upon the people of the region to conserve forests for maintaining ecological balance and green cover of the area.
