Bhaderwah, Sept 26: Congress in Bhaderwah of Doda district today got a jolt party leader Babu Ram from Charalla locality joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in a mass joining ceremony in which several activists from different political parties joined the PDP today in presence of Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal , PDP candidate from Bhaderwah constituency. Prominent who joined PDP Included eminent Congress leader Babu Ram, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kashmir Singh and others alongwith their supports who extended their support to PDP in coming elections . Earlier corner meeting were held at Charalla , Jagota ,Bhella , Puneja ,Jora , Bhuddi and others far flung areas of constituency in which local throng in large number exuding faith in party ideologies and its leadership.
While addressing the people, former bureaucrat Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal took dig over congress leader and local representatives and said that issues like shortage of basic amenities have increased many folds during last five years. PDP leader said that present coalition government has undermined the peoples' faith in the politics because of its anti people policies. Iqbal and other speakers categorically said that days of NC-Congress coalition are numbered and people of the state are waiting for the time to teach them lesson for their misdeeds. PDP leaders appealed the people to support PDP for the betterment of the Bhaderwah Bhalessa and Charalla. |
