Lok Adalat awards fine upto Rs 19,95,000/- 9/27/2014 12:01:39 AM Early Times Report Kathua Sept 26: Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, District and Session Judge,Kathua, a Lok Adalat was held in the District Court complex Kathua under the chairmanship of V C Koul, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority here at today. A total of 8 cases were disposed of by the Lok Adalat. Today's Lok Adalat comprised two benches and Bench 1 presided over by V C Koul District and Sessions Judge, Kathua was assisted by Smt Sonia Gupta Additional District & Sessions Judge Kathua whereas Bench 2 of Deepak Sethi Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kathua and Renu Dogra Munsiff, Kathua which took up different cases with a view to deliver justice. The bench 1 took Motor Accidents claims and other cases during which 6 cases were decided on spot and awarded fine to the tune of Rs 19,95000/- was ordered to be paid to the claimants.
