MENDHAR, Nov 1: On the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, the first Home Minister of India, Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) was observed in GDC Mendhar.
This programme was organized by the NSS Unit of the college in collaboration with NCC and other departments of the College. The programme was presided over by the college Principal Prof. Shabir Hussain Shah.
Beside NSS Unit, all the students of the college attended this programme. The programme was started with Prayer followed by National Anthem. Speaking on this occasion College Principal impressed upon the students to follow the teachings of great personalities who played a role in freedom, unity and prosperity of this great nation. He further said that, development of country is only with the unity among all the communities of this nation. All the staff members prominent which included Prof. Shokit Hussain, Prof. Sarshad Hussain, Dr. Mohd Azam, Prof. Javid Hussain, Prof. Mohd Kram and Dr. Mahroof Khan were present on this Occasion. |
