JAMMU, Nov 1: Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) of Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh said that the people of Jammu & Kashmir deserve to be liberated from several decades of mis-governance, discrimination and rampant corruption, and in the present backdrop, only BJP can ensure a fair deal to all.
In an interaction with a group of media persons, Dr. Jitendra Singh said that BJP is the only national political party today which has enlarged its public base across the country, primarily on the basis of the performance of its governments at the Centre and the States through its highly focused approach for development with modern initiatives.
The five months of distinguished performance by Narendra Modi government at the Centre and the example set by the BJP governments in States like Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan have convinced the people that BJP is the only truly democratic option for their progressive future in 21st century, he added.
Dr. Jitendra Singh cautioned that politics of appeasement or slogans instigating regional divide will no longer cut the ice in the forthcoming elections because people across all sections of society and the three regions of Jammu, Ladakh and Kashmir have convincingly realized that such a retrogressive approach will leave Jammu & Kashmir far behind while the rest of the subcontinent will move on. |
