Udhampur, Nov 1: Bhaskar Degree College Udhampur organized an intra section table tennis tournament today the competition was for both boys and girls from degree courses. According to press release, the tournament was organized under the supervision of Rajesh Verma, Director of Physical Education.
Prof P L Suri, I/C Principal of the college was present on the occasion. The event was witnessed with great enthusiasm by both students and staff.
The participants played with great exuberance and ebullience to score the first position. The participating students from boys section were Mohd. Sarfaraz, Anit, Angad, Vijay, Prince, Sunny, Ved Prakash, Bittu Singh, Kunal, Shiv Dev, Puship, Akshay Bali, Ashish, Karan Singh, Danish and Shubham.
In the girls section the participants were Pallavi, Shivangi, Simran and Pooja. Fifteen matches were played in boys section whereas three matches were played in girls section. In boys section the final match was played between Kunal of BA Part-I and Mohd Sarfraz of BA Part-III. The winner for boys' category was Kunal whereas in girls section the final match was played between Pallavi Thakur of BA Part-III and Simran of BA Part-I and the winner was Simran. In the end the winners were awarded trophies by the Principal of the college. |
