Early Times Report

Rajouri, Nov 1: Immediately after the MMS of a few girl students of a government higher secondary school taking bath in a hot spring was posted on a social networking site, they approached the school principal who immediately initiated an internal inquiry. Talking to reporters in his office today, the principal said a 5-member committee had been constituted to inquire into the matter and action would be taken against those girls who have uploaded the video. A few days ago about 300 HSS girl students went to Tatapani in Kalakot on a picnic. Some of them entered the hot water spring to take bath as it is believed that its water cures many skin diseases. Some of their friends made their video in their mobile phones. Sources said that onFriday, 1-2 girls shared the video with their other friends and one among them uploaded the video on WhatsApp social networking site and immediately the video was shared by many WhatsApp users.
The aggrieved girls brought the matter to the notice of principal who immediately called the staff members and after discussing the matter constituted a 5 member team headed by himself with one female member and started questioning the girls identified by the aggrieved girls. The principal said that the matter was under investigation and suitable action will be taken against the accused girls, if found guilty.
Meanwhile, reliable sources said the parents of the aggrieved girls were very much shocked over the incident and might create problem for school authorities on Monday. When contacted, Rajouri SSP said the matter had not been brought to his notice by the aggrieved girls or their parents.
