NSF, JVO hold candle light march, demand justice for 1984’ tragedy | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 1: National Sikh Front (NSF) along with Justice for Victims Organisation, joined hands together to show support and unity against justice denied to aggrieved Sikh families and held a candle light march from Ekta Vihar NH1 to Kunjwani Chowk to protest against anti Sikh riots of 1984. "If Modi led centre government is serious than it should constitute an SIT at national level, fast track courts, Re open cases, challenge Sajjan Kumar's acquittal in High Court and enact a strong anti communal ethnic violence law in Parliament, said Virinderjit Singh. Virinderjit Singh said, "Punish the culprits … Jagdish Tytler, Sajjan Kumar and others. There should be trial against top Congress leadership especially for backing and supporting the culprits. Another marcher Kulwant Singh Bhatti said, "It still makes our pained to see Sikhs demanding justice for last three decades. "Sikhs have been fighting for rights and will continue to fight until Justice is delivered, he added. Gurdyal Singh Bali and others also spoke on this occasion. |
