| Burglars make unsuccessful bid to break into SBI ATM | | |  Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Nov 1: Unidentified Burglars during last intervening night made a unsuccessful burglary bid at Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) of State Bank of India (SBI) at highly guarded Chinar Galli Kishtwar located few
hundred meters away from Police Station Kishtwar.
As per the details available with "Early times", the burglars after barging into ATM counter managed to break open the outer cover of the ATM with iron rod but failed to steal any cash as they perhaps were forced to flee from the spot. "As soon as information was flashed to police, the police and bank officials rushed to the spot, police sources said. Concerned police have started investigations, but no formal FIR has been registered till last report came in. sources however added that it is not confirmed yet whether a CCTV was installed inside the ATM or not.
It is pertinent to mention that this is 2nd burglary attempt on SBI ATM in Kishtwar District in last one year, but no one has been arrested so far. |
